Tennis Whizz (Ages 3-4)

Created in the UK, Tennis Whizz has been hailed as the most complete pre-school tennis program ever developed. Classes are led by a dynamic instructor who takes both parents and children on amazing adventures that aid in developing the fundamental athletic base needed to be successful in any sport. This class is run in a Parent and Me tennis format, which means parents or guardians should participate in the learning process!


Red Rallyer (Ages 5-7)

Red Rallyer Tennis is divided into two levels and designed for beginner players ages 5-7. This class focuses on building physical skills (agility, balance, coordination and speed) while teaching the fundamentals necessary to serve, rally and score using a rally/game based curriculum. Coaching is focused on developing sending and receiving skills, sound footwork and racquet mechanics. Prior to moving to the next level, the player will be able to demonstrate an underhand serve from a 36' court to the correct side of the court consistently, an overhead serve from the 27' court, short rally with a partner with a simple recovery between shots, direct the ball away from an opponent and keep score (7 points).


Red 2 (Ages 5-7)

Red 2 Tennis is designed for both advanced beginner and intermediate players ages 5-7 to continue having fun while learning the 2nd level of Red competencies. This class focuses on developing topspin to rally with a partner with depth, directional intent, ball recognition and approaching the net for a volley. Prior to moving to the next level, the player will be able to intentionally apply skills learned in Red 2 during the game. Ability to intentionally move the ball, especially side to side, and recognition of open court spaces will be evident. The player will also be able to demonstrate an approach and volley pattern during points.


Orange Rallyer (Ages 8-10)

Orange Rallyer Tennis is designed for beginner level players ages 8-10. Orange Rallyer focuses on building the athletic skills required by the sport while also teaching the fundmentals necessary to serve, rally and score using a rally/game based curriculum. The coaching is focused on developing sending and recieving skills, sound footwork and racquet mechanics. Prior to moving to the next level, the player will be able to demonstrate an overhead serve to the correct side of the court consistently, short rally with a partner with a simple recovery between shots, direct the ball away from an opponent and keep score.


Orange 2 (Ages 8-10)

Orange 2 Tennis is designed for both advanced beginner and intermediate players and focuses on developing topspin to rally with a partner with depth, changing direction of the ball, net play, passing shots and lobs. Prior to moving to the next level, the player will have an improved understanding of how to play the game. This includes the ability to direct the ball side to side and recognition of open court spaces. The player will also be able to demonstrate an approach and volley pattern during points.


Orange 3 (Ages 8-10)

Orange 3 Tennis is the last stage of orange ball development. At this stage of the pathway, Orange 3 players have a strong desire to compete, play tournaments, team tennis and interscholastic competition and continues to enjoy the process as well as the love of the game. Players demonstrates a high degree of proficiency in racquet and movement mechanics, court awareness and an ability to structure points. A key feature of Orange 3 is match play. Each Orange 3 member is required to play up to one (1) match per week, and their progress will be tracked on a session by session basis. Placement in this group requires approval from Director of Tennis.


Friday Night Lights Orange Rallyer Session 2

Orange Rallyer Friday Night Lights are for players new to both the orange ball and competitive tennis. Ideal for players in Orange Rallyer, each participant will learn how to keep score and play singles and doubles matches. Matches will be held on November 30, December 14 (6:30-7:30pm), January 4 and January 18.


Friday Night Lights Orange 2 And 3 Session 2

Orange 2 and 3 Friday Night Lights is for Orange Ball players that have played some competitive tennis, but are still acclimating themselves to match play. Each participant will play singles and doubles matches and have an opportunity to synthesize what they have learned from previous competitions. Matches will be held on November 16, December 7 (6:30-7:30pm), December 21 and January 11.


Junior Rally In 10 (Ages 5-8)

Junior Rally in 10 is designed for beginner players ages 5-8. This class focuses on building physical skills (agility, balance, coordination and speed) while teaching the fundamentals necessary to serve, rally and score using a rally/game based curriculum. Coaching is focused on developing sending and receiving skills, sound footwork and racquet mechanics.


Junior Rally In 10 (Ages 9-12)
