Green 1 Tennis (Ages 11-13)

Green 1 Tennis is designed for beginner and advanced beginner players ages 11-13. This class will focus on building athletic skills (agility, balance, coordination, speed and strength) while teaching the fundamentals of tennis with a game-based curriculum. Coaching is focused on developing sending and receiving skills, footwork and racquet mechanics. Over the course of the session, players will apply these fundamentals into beginner level rallying, point play, team tennis and games.


Green 2 Tennis (Ages 10-12)

Green 2 Tennis is designed for intermediate players ages 10-12 who have demonstrated basic serve, rally mechanics. This class will focus on developing topspin, height, depth, direction, pace, net play and overall point play for singles and doubles. Over the course of the session, players will apply these skills into intermediate level rallying, point play, matches, team tennis and games. Placement in this class requires approval from Director of Tennis (tdelaney@jtcc.org).


Yellow Tennis (Ages 13+)

Yellow Tennis is designed for advanced beginner and intermediate players ages 13+. For players starting, class will focus on building athletic skills (agility, balance, coordination, speed and strength) while teaching the fundamentals of tennis with a game-based curriculum. For intermediate players, class will focus on developing topspin, height, depth, direction, pace, net play and overall point play for singles and doubles.
